I loved seeing this Sitting room using Pompom & Flip designs last week. Mixing different patterns in a room creates such a fun feel to a interior. Here they have used our Pompom and Flip designs in the nightshade colour group. The mix of purples, navy and green work so well with the blue walls in this sitting room. It gives the room a really modern fresh unique feel.
The mix of patterns from the fabrics, wallpaper, paintings and artwork gives a great eclectic individual feel to this room. The mix of old and new items in a room creates wonderful layers of interest to a room.
It is always worth hunting for furniture that you can restore so you get more individual pieces. These two 1950’s chairs were re-upholstered by a company called Hitch and they have done a great job.
This sitting room has used flip wallpaper on one wall with the rest of the walls painted blue. Then flip cushions in the same nightshade colourway on the sofa. Plus Pompom nightshade for the upsolstery on the chairs. The chosen paintings and sculpture really help then bring the room together.
I would love to hear what Natasha Marshall fabrics you have mixed together in your home? Please do share photos with #NMinteriors so we can find them.
Hope you have a exciting week ahead and starting to get into the Christmasy mood. Reading the January issue of Ideal Home Magazine, a Big Christmas Edit was great for Christmas ideas this weekend! Plus chuffed to see my home featured in it. They showed the before and after photos of our self build. You forget how much work did go into it! Happy Monday x
